Summer Employment
The following are seasonal part-time or full-time hourly positions, weather permitting. Shifts typically run between 9am and 5pm. Between July 1 and Labor Day.

SNACK BAR ATTENDANT
Shredder's Snack Shack
- SNACK BAR DUTIES
- Takes orders & runs register
- Prepares meal and beverage ingredients
- Unloading, stocking, & storage of ingredients and supplies
- CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Assist guests with directions, questions, sales, etc.
- Sales & Point-of-sale transactions for bar and/or snack bar area
- Assist others as needed
- Interacting with guests with positive energy and hospitality
- BASIC EXPECTATIONS
- Communicate as needed with guests and other members of staff.
- Friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Self-Starter
- Basic understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
- Maintain a clean work area and contributing to a overall clean facility.
- Good attitude
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Basic understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
- Basic understanding of or the ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently as part of a team or independently.
- Must have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Must be able to frequently communicate and develop rapport with guests and associates and have a working relationship with the resort management team.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Must be able to regularly lift/move supplies, some upwards of 25lbs.
- Work in a loud, active, and humid work environment.
- Ability to maintain personal hygiene.
LIFEGUARD
Water Park / Summer Camp
- LIFEGUARD DUTIES
- Ensure the safety of the guests and prevent injuries by supervising pools and surrounding areas.
- Maintain all aquatics/pool standards and enforce all rules.
- Accurately and completely fill out all paperwork required to coincide with any first aid administered in a timely manner to ensure documentation can be distributed to appropriate personnel.
- During slower periods, cleanliness and sanitation of Waterpark are expected to be performed by all staff. Management may provide specific lists based on needs.
- Wear proper attire and whistle in accordance with dress code standards.
- Attend staff meetings and training as required.
- Communicate all pool rules professionally and ensure that you are accessible and identifiable.
- Follows established safety procedures. Complies with all policies and procedures.
- Enforcing policies and safety procedures at waterpark attractions, slides, pools, concessions, and activities.
- This position also performs various tasks relating to activities, concessions, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be lifeguard & CPR certified, experience not required. (only pool certification required)
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public, guests, and staff members.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to be prompt and work scheduled work shifts.
- Knowledge of the standards of care in the industry.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently.
- Must be firm, fair, consistent, and courteous in order to gain respect and cooperation from the public.
- The knowledge that their decisions may affect the total facility staff and the lives of others.
- Must have emotional stability and the ability to make sound decisions that conform to facility policies when dealing with adverse situations.
- Independent judgment concerning work methods and procedures is required.
SLIDE ATTENDANT
Water Park
- SLIDE ATTENDANT DUTIES
- Interacting with guests with energy and service
- Enforcing park safety rules
- Keeping area free of debris and clean for guests
- Ensuring that guests are clear from slide so that others can proceed.
- Ensuring the safety of facility patrons by assisting patrons at the top or bottom of the slide.
