Yawgoo Valley Snow Sports

PSIA

About The 2020-2021 Season

This year we will be offering private lessons for children as young as 3*years old through teens and adults! It is never too late to experience snow sports. Private lessons are one-on-one or can be booked to include up to 4 other friends and family members. These lessons require an advanced reservation but will likely have plenty of availability all season long (once we open).
The only other lesson options will be our multi-week group programs, the January Program (5-Weeks), and the President’s Program(3-Days). This style of group lesson will consistently be the same group of children each week, practicing outdoors in the fresh air. The January program enrollment began in September and in most cases already full.
The President’s program is a 3-day program during President’s week, however, holding this program is based on any weather delays/extensions for our January Program. Details will be available in Mid-January. We will not be offering our daily group classes due to the nature of inconsistent groupings; this is different from our multi-week programs as the groupings remain consistent.

SOLD OUT FOR THE 2021 Program

Our annual learn to ski or snowboard lesson program begins on January 4, 2021. Keep in mind registration always begins in Mid-September. If you missed out this year be sure to join our email newsletter for next year.

Private Lessons

Due to overwhelming demand and variables out of our control, we are not currently not accepting any new requests at this time.  Check back for updates in Late-January for February options.

Private Lessons are available for up to 5 students for ages as young as 3 through Adult, because it's never too late to experience the thrill of snow sports!

About Our School

Fun and Learning is the approach that the Yawgoo Valley Snow Sports Staff uses in coaching students that choose to come to Yawgoo Valley for their learning experiences. Our staff is dedicated to providing quality instruction to children and adults of all ages and skill levels. Our staff has been trained specifically in teaching skills-based progressions from novice through advanced levels. Many of our staff members have advanced their knowledge and skills base by becoming professionally certified in their discipline by PSIA-AASI.

Skiing or snowboarding can be a tough sport to learn. You can try to teach yourself or learn from a friend, but, for more than fifty years, people have worked with PSIA or AASI instructors to help them learn to ski and snowboard and navigate the mountains.

If you want to ski or snowboard, you’ll learn faster, have more fun, and get more out of your day when you take a lesson from a PSIA or AASI member. PSIA-AASI is the world’s largest organization that trains people how to become instructors so they can spread the stoke of skiing and snowboarding.
