We are Rhode Island's ONLY Ski Area & Snow Tubing Park! We are typically operational early December through late March. We make our own winter here with proper temperatures; almost all of our snow is made by us! Our Water Park operates mid-June through Labor day for those hot Rhode Island Summer days! Your Responsibility Code1. Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
2. People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
3. You must not stop where you obstruct a trail or are not visible from above.
4. Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
5. Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
6. Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
7. Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely.
Inherent risks of winter sports activities means those risks which are listed in this agreement, or those that can be reasonably inferred there from. These risks are both obvious and necessary to these winter sports activities. These inherent risks include but are not limited to changing weather conditions; surface and/or subsurface snow conditions as they may from time to time exist and change or be affected by weather, skier or other participant usage, (weather such conditions are surface or subsurface or consist of ice, Hard pack, powder, packed powder, wind pack, corn, crust, slush, cut up snow, and/or machine made or machine enhanced snow); other conditions including bare spots, forest growth and debris; stumps and trees; streambeds and other natural objects and/or collisions with such objects; collisions with lift towers, signs, hydrants used in snowmaking or for other necessary purposes, whether or not these objects are padded or shielded; collisions with well marked or plainly visible snow mobiles, snow grooming, and/or other over-snow vehicles or equipment; variation in steepness of terrain including but not limited to road and/or other terrain modification or variations in terrain that occur naturally or as the result of slope design, weather changes, snow making and/or snow grooming operation, or participant usage.

All tickets and passes issued by Yawgoo Valley Ski
Area are NON-REFUNDABLE, NOT TRANSFERABLE and expire
on the specified date and at the end of the ski and
snowboard season at Yawgoo Valley Ski Area during
which they were purchased.
If for medical reasons, a skier/rider requests a
refund, it will be pro-rated for the first 20 days of
ski area operation. When twenty (20) days of
operations are reached, there will be no refunds
including for medical reasons. Notification of
non-participation must be received by Yawgoo Valley
within 14 days of injury. A licensed Doctor of
medicine must document injury/sickness of a Pass
holder preventing his/her participation in
skiing/riding. Medical Refund requests will not be
accepted after 14 days post injury. Refunds will not
be processed until the pass has been turned in. A
Medical Certificate providing the injury date and the
prognosis stating that the pass holder is unable to
participate in skiing/riding due to the injury.
All pass/ticket holders at Yawgoo Valley must abide by
the snow users responsibility code. You must carry
your pass at all times. Passes are NOT Transferable.
In the event the Pass is lost, stolen, broken or
unrecognizable, you must pay a non-refundable fee of
$25 for any replacement pass. In all cases, your Pass
privileges expire at the close of operations for the
pass-purchased winter season. A lost or stolen pass
must be reported immediately.
Misconduct will result in withdrawal or suspension of
pass privileges. Misconduct also covers unsocial
behavior and terms expressed or implied relating to
the resort. Yawgoo Valley reserves the right to
withdraw the pass for breach of terms and conditions
of sale, illegal use or misconduct on the ski resort.
Fraudulent use of your pass will result in
confiscation of the pass and prosecution of all
Snow Sports School
Cancellations are required 24 hours prior to the
scheduled lesson time. If the lesson
is cancelled less than 24 hours in advanced we will be
able to reschedule the lesson for a future date.
If the lesson is not cancelled and there is a no show
for the scheduled time, the customer will be charged
for 50% of the lesson portion. Cancelations will be
accepted by email only at TBD with
"Lesson Cancellation" in the subject line. Please
make sure to leave your name, phone number, and the
date and time of your scheduled lesson. All customers
will receive confirmation of cancellation.
Multi-day Program Lessons (5-Week Program):
All registrations are not deemed complete until full
payment has been received. After the initial
registration has been received, there will be a $10
fee per change, per student. This includes changing
days, programs, sports, cancelling or adding rental
equipment, etc. Be aware that all changes are subject
to availability, being registered does not guarantee
your acceptance to another day/sport. All changes and
refunds must be made by December 1st for the 5-week
program and Feb 5th for the February Program, changes
and refunds after that point will be accepted for
medical reasons only. Medical refund requests should
be submitted as soon as possible as you will be
refunded for the remaining classes.
If we have canceled a class due to inclement weather, we will postpone the class
until the following week until all sessions are complete. After the sessions are
complete, We offer one (1) make-up session at the end of the scheduled program
for any lesson that a student personally misses. Notification of
non-participation must be received by Yawgoo Valley within 14 days of injury or
relocation. A licensed Doctor of medicine must document injury/sickness of a
Pass holder preventing his/her participation in skiing/riding. Snow Tubing Policy
By purchasing snow tubing tickets I understand there are no refunds. I am aware of the upcoming weather conditions and know that if the tubing park is operational I must either attend or forfeit my purchase; I will not be refunded or credited. I am aware that warmer temperatures can make the chutes softer and the snow tubes move slower.
I understand that all participants must be at least 42” and cannot ride with
someone else. If I purchase a ticket for someone smaller than 42”, I will
forfeit that ticket and will not be refunded.I understand that I will not be refunded if I purchase too many tickets and I
may only purchase more tickets in person if they are not sold out.I understand that if I am late or miss my session I will not be refunded and
will not be offered another session.
If for any reason the park does not open, we will contact you as soon as we can
to rebook you for the following weekend in the amount of tickets originally
purchased only. We may be able to book you for a session on the current weekend,
but there are no guarantees.
I understand that I must provide a signed waiver for every participant in order
to pick-up my ticket(s).
All gift card, gift coin, gift certificate sales are final, no refunds. We are
unable to replace, refund, or track lost or stolen gift items. Please protect
gift items as you would cash. Gift items cannot be exchanged for cash. Gifts are
redeemable at any Yawgoo Valley facility and do not expire. Physical card must
be present in order to use balance.
Operating Policies and Procedures
In case of inclement weather; i.e...high winds, fog,
blizzard etc. Yawgoo will shut down the lift and/or
close the hill for safety if needed. In doing so
NO REFUNDS will be given however, if tickets have been
purchased and patrons have not been able to have FULL
use of purchases, VOUCHERS will be offered to all
patrons for the inconvenience at the manager's
During high traffic times such as special event days,
weekends and all holiday periods we do not and cannot
guarantee short lift lines, and will NOT REFUND
tickets, rentals and/or lessons.
Items left unattended may be stolen or taken by
mistake. Yawgoo will not be responsible for any items
stolen or damaged property. You may file a lost item
report in the office or complaint with the police
department in case of stolen items.
Yawgoo Valley Ski Area shall not provide customer
information to any third parties other than for the
purposes of processing of payment.
All and any refunds are subject to the discretion and
approval of Yawgoo Valley staff and management.
Absolutely No Drones. No alcohol or grills. Pets are not permitted.
